My long 36 hour travel adventure is over halfway done. I'm a bit cracked out in Dubai, but incredibly happy. So far I've had two proposals (those are not the sources of my happiness) from men in Dubai. One was actually on the plane so doesn't really count and the other was in the airport. Ridiculous.
Why do I love Air Emirates? Some of you know about my 12 hour layover in Dubai and listened to me complain about spending 12 hours in an airport from 8pm to 8am. When my flight arrived 30 minutes early I was so sad, but then I found out that the airline put me up in a hotel! It's actually really nice although I'm in the airline wing which isn't as nice as the rest of the hotel. Here's the website for the hotel:

I get to shower and really sleep before my flight in the morning! Incredible. If anyone wants to come and visit they should try to get my flight with the 12 hour overnight layover in Dubai. I have a UAE stamp in my passport, UAE money to add to my collection and two meal tickets. Definitely worth it.
